Dear Valued Customer,
We appreciate your continued partnership and trust in National Compressed Air (NCA). As you may be aware, the geopolitical landscape and recent tariff implementations by the U.S. government have created significant cost fluctuations for imported goods. Many of our suppliers import products from impacted countries and have begun applying tariff-related surcharges to our transactions. Due to the unpredictable nature of these tariffs—including changes in rates, affected products, and implementation timelines—we may experience increased costs across various product lines. To maintain our service levels and ensure continued supply, it may be necessary to pass these surcharges through to our customers based on the impacted dates of our suppliers. If necessary for most products, NCA will itemize the surcharges as separate line items on your invoices. There may be some suppliers that will build the cost impact into the price of the product. For these scenarios, we will only apply the increase that the supplier is passing along to us. We are documenting all tariff increase notifications to be able to provide full transparency to our customers upon request. We understand that this may pose challenges for your business, and we are committed to working closely with you to navigate these changes. As we continue to navigate the constraints throughout the supply chain, we will continue to collaborate with you to minimize this impact as much as possible. We commit to doing this in the following ways:
Provide prompt communication regarding supply chain interruptions, price increases, surcharges, or raw material shortages to the furthest extent possible to assist with your procurement planning needs.
Collaborate with you or your team to evaluate commercial or technical solutions that may help meet your immediate production or operational needs.
Evaluate and recommend alternative freight/logistic solutions where possible to ensure consistent and ‘above-average’ performance relative to our peers.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Sincerely,
National Compressed Air
